What does cake mean?
A women’s nicely figured booty; another word meaning ass or butt. Or dessert if that gets you through the door. No other gym celebrates like we do. Complete 50 classes and cake is on us.
How much does it cost?
There is no membership fee. There are no monthly dues. There is no unlimited option. You purchase your training volume in the form (pun intended) of class packs, individual training sessions, bundle, and all other services including physical therapy and nutrition coaching all on the app. Try Cake with an intro class for $20. Signing up for more classes will be available with a class pack of your choice. Class packs prevent an higher single class rate and keep the $20 price point for all classes! Everything is prepaid and booked for accountability and commitment. We do not take cash.
Our value is not negotiable. Neither are training sessions. And no, we do not offer free trials. We do not offer free classes. We do not, and cannot, work for free and have bills to pay, too. With the cost of personal training being the barrier, we changed that with the $20 class price for small group training making it accessible to workout with one.
Do you offer athletic training for girls?
Performance training programming is for girls 8-18 who need coordination and community. From dealing with the weight of the world to whether she is training for dance to hockey, or to bench press like the boys in the weight room, this sports style class will develop her as an athlete and an adult. Speed and agility, plyometric, and strength are offered in our setting giving girls a gym of their own at a young age proving the word woman is not synonymous with weak. We develop her with confidence, courage and a competitive edge in the Athleticake class from being coached by former female athletes. We also offer customized team training (max of 10 people per hour) and small group training (minimum of three girls) which can be booked under the group training pricing option directly on the app.
How is this gym different?
Let’s start with the fancy chandelier. Or how there isn’t a stair stepper in sight. Or elliptical…or Pelaton. There is no cardio equipment because we are building muscle. And a proper warm-up does not start with a casual walk. Hire a new trainer if that is how your session starts! Increasing heart rate alone is neglecting muscles imbalances and core activation. The body should be correctly prepared for the workout ahead with correlating movement patterns. And there are no men making this a safe Muslim gym for women.
Upper body days don’t burn calories but we have pole dancing and specific classes to make training any muscle group more appealing at this aesthetic gym. The blend of strong (through weight lifting) and sensual (through pole dancing) will, of course, reduce body fat but more importantly balance the body. If your workouts are feeling stale, you need a gym that’s social! You’ll leave craving less cortisol spikes through barley breaking a sweat and receiving your 50 class cake! Save the membership dues for a sweat session instead.
Why is the gym orange?
Not to be confused we Orange Theory, the color is called Caramel Latte. Dessert inspired and yet exotic, orange stimulates the brain and body, which we found perfect for the space and totally on brand. While encouraging social communication, the energetic color provides a little warmth to offset the cold metal of fitness equipment. It is a color of enthusiasm, joy and emotion. You will feel positive, creative, spontaneous, and uplifted at the Club. Let it grab your attention. If you feel pulled to stay longer or having a hard time and can’t workout, please rest, work and hang out in the lobby. And tag us so we can keep the lights on.
In a 2018 study in Frontiers in Psychology, orange was found to increase energy levels. Most importantly, orange is a color of youth. Strength training fights aging with “good stress” on the body. This is the color of good health. Cheers!
Why am I not prescribed exercise?
It has been proven that mental health was destroyed due to the lack of physical activity during the pandemic. Sparking obesity to an all-time high. The Covid weight gain problem came as 50% of people became less active and gave up the gym. Reduced level of physical activity during the COVID-19 pandemic is associated with depression and anxiety levels, and of those who reduced their level of physical activity had the highest levels of mood disorders.
According to Harvard Medical School, exercise is an all-natural treatment to fight depression. One in 10 adults in the United States struggles with depression, and antidepressant medications are a common way to treat the condition. Research shows that exercise is also an effective treatment. “For some people it works as well as antidepressants, although exercise alone isn’t enough for someone with severe depression,” says Dr. Michael Craig Miller, assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
The exercise effect starts a biological cascade of events that results in many health benefits, such as protecting against heart disease and diabetes, improving sleep, and lowering blood pressure. High-intensity exercise releases the body’s feel-good chemicals called endorphins. But for most of us, the real value is in low-intensity exercise sustained over time. That kind of activity spurs the release of proteins called neurotrophic or growth factors, which cause nerve cells to grow and make new connections. The improvement in brain function makes you feel better. “In people who are depressed, neuroscientists have noticed that the hippocampus in the brain—the region that helps regulate mood—is smaller. Exercise supports nerve cell growth in the hippocampus, improving nerve cell connections, which helps relieve depression,” explains Dr. Miller.
What if I lost my workout buddy?
If your friend left your gym and you feel alone, you’ll make more with a max of 10 people in our small group training! This is a women’s social club in a gym space where sometimes we sweat, but mainly we celebrate, showing up. Change it up with different class times to meet other women who lift. Or take a spin on something that isn’t a stationary bike in a pole dance class that isn’t downtown!
Not interested in classes? Partner training is always an option and a way to save money. If you don’t have someone to split the session, let us pair you with a partner who will complement your goals.
Why is the focus on dessert when it leads to weight gain?
The time has come to change a woman’s view that strength training doesn’t have to be scary, dessert doesn’t have to be earned and pole dancing shouldn’t be socially unacceptable. Thin isn’t in and thick lives lead to a longer life!
Cake will put an end to eating disorders by changing the stereotype that being skinny and starving isn’t appealing. And that you have to earn it…because you don’t. A healthy metabolism boosted from weight lifting let’s a girl eat the cake! And cardio will never make you more attractive – just more hungry.
Here is the safest way to join the big booty trend. Women are dying from complications from plastic surgery procedures like Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL). There is no need to die in order to grow your derrière—go to the gym and get your squats in! At the Cake Body Club you can get a beautifully sculpted body without the scalpel.
Why is there no cardio equipment?
Fire your trainer if you warm-up for weight lifting on a treadmill. Would you go for a walk to lift 200 pounds? An experienced, educated trainer will activate your body with dynamic exercises. Neuromuscular communication > small talk. Sweat doesn’t mean you’re ready…it means you’re cooling down.
Cardio is a very calorie intensive form of exercise breaking down muscle for fuel. While cardio doesn’t require strength, strength training will increase the heart rate. And anything that increases your heart rate can be considered cardio. It’s great for heart health but not for metabolism, bone density, balance, coordination, decrease abdominal fat, anti-aging, injury prevention, insulin sensitivity, improving mood, brain health, and more! If you want intense cardio here book HIIT That Butt or a pole dance class.
Why is personal training expensive?
This is so much more than just a workout. And just an hour for $100.
1. A trainer’s time is valuable and time is money. That hour session is all yours and no one else’s unless you share it.
2. Between degrees, certifications and continuing education, trainers make investments for you!
3. Trainers wear many hats. Between being a cheerleader, coach, perfectionist, programmer, therapist, DJ, and mathematician, we do a lot do things and are really good at what we do.
4. Learning how to live, and train, pain free is priceless.
5. Your health is in investment. The skills you are learning last a lifetime. Being able to workout alone with proper form takes practice.
Can I train with a friend?
Yes! It’s a great way to afford personal training and have accountability from not one – but two people! You’ll only get stronger if you show up, and if you don’t, you still pay your part. Partner training is a way to save half and group training is a way to save even more.
Can I have Cake on a budget?
Yes, sign up for group classes and still have access to the expertise and programming of a personal trainer for just $20 a drop in! Expect few form checks since you’re not the only person but get the accountability of check-ins like a private client through our concierge style class scheduling service because you’re more than just a number here.
Can I split a session with a workout partner?
Yes! It can be more fun to train with a friend or significant other. This is certainly budget friendly but not tailored – since a 2-for-1 deal never is customizable. Partner training is $50/each.
What are the hours?
The club is open Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 9 PM. Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM. Based on bookings.

A couple that workout together will stay together. And no, he isn’t programming your workout or correcting your form. We’ve seen this in the gym and it makes us cringe. Leave it to the pros.
